Ventana, one of our
favorite spots!

A great
breakfast that included crepes with ice cream for the girls and toast, chocolate cake and apple pie for Duncan and I! I think we must have orderd off the "posteries" menu (desserts!). Girls LOVED it!
Scooters were the way to go in Colonia! No helmets, which the girls thought was amazing. Everyone travels that way, so only a few cars on the roads. Fun bumping over the cobbled, narrow streets.

Neighbors Cathy and Paul are finally on the BLOG. This event is as big as you guys being in South America. Wow...the photos are fun and for a few minutes we didn't think Katie was there. We are excited for you and with you...keep sending "stuff"...we love it.
ReplyDeleteWe love the photos...for a minute there we didn't think Katie was there... Us being on this BLOG is as big a deal as you being in South America. You kids are so lucky...we can't wait to see you and hear you tell you stories. Travel safe and we say from the HOOD...

OK...so we posted 2 comments. It proves we don't know what we are doing...
ReplyDeletePaul (again)
I'm so glad you had a good experience after that crazy day in BA! And that is one whopping spider - yikes!
ReplyDeleteWe just looked at the scrapbook from Mrs. Robert's 2nd grade class, when Molly wanted to be a librarian and Cailin wanted to be an inventor. Peter enjoyed hearing about what 2nd grade was like for them!
Great pictures--except for the tarantula, eek! We are so envious of all that SUNSHINE (although we did have a dry weekend, can't complain).
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see ALL of your pics when you're back!
